Barty Crouch Sr.

An influential Ministry of Magic official, although very outspoken against Voldemort and his Death Eaters he had a reputation of being as wicked and cold-blooded as many on the Dark Side. As well as Head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation he is also father to his murderer, Bartemius “Barty” Crouch Jr., a follower of the Dark Lord himself. Many people would blame Bartemius Sr.’s absent parenting as a big reason for him switching alliances at a very young age, and a few more cynical of the wizarding community think he deserved what came to him. 

Aurors

An Auror is as Ron Weasley explains it a “Dark wizard catcher”, but they are much more than that. They are an elite unit of highly-trained, specialist officers tasked with the daunting job of upholding the magical law and protecting the magical community from the most corrupt and evil wizards out there. They are the polar opposite of Lord Voldemort’s Death Eaters and spend most of there time, especially during the great wizarding war, rounding up and imprisoning their counterparts.
