Description

Contrast paints are a fantastic new paint formulation which requires one simple coat over a spray to bring your model to tabletop standard with almost no effort!

Even if you’re not using the full-blown Contrast Method, there are a few paints in here you’ll want to try. A basecoat of Wraithbone followed up with some Nazdreg Yellow, for instance, gives you a cleanly shaded yellow in moments, and is perfect if you’re looking for an easy way to tackle this typically difficult-to-paint colour. Likewise, Warp Lightning Green and Flesh Tearers Red make vivid, beautiful, deep colours possible in a single application.

All of our paints are non-toxic, water-based acrylic that are designed for use on plastic, metal, and resin Citadel miniatures. One pot contains 18ml of contrast paint.

Part of the excellent contrast paint range – use one thick coat over a base to get decent results very quickly!

  2. Brabbinho (verified owner)

Part of the contrast range, this is a great addition to any painters toolbox. Just add a highlight for a quick and easy effect.

I’ve been using it for sails

  3. David Clark (verified owner)

Good as a base for white robes on things like elves.

  4. Patrick Evans (verified owner)

One coat, self shading – great for the gamer in a rush. Also a useful part of an experienced painters toolbox.

  5. David Clark (verified owner)

Was short in supplies and the outpost were there for supply drop super fast and quick delivery.

  6. HarryHowells (verified owner)

Contrast is a great addtion to the painters box, be it needing a quick single coat or a good solid base colour to build up on, its great

  7. Chrisphillips291 (verified owner)

Put this over an ivory basecoat to get a good white, and then dry brush with a pure white to finish off – no need to apply any washes after that. Do practise one some sprue or an old model first as contrast paints are a little difficult to use first time around.

  8. Ric119 (verified owner)

    good paint

  9. Andy Smith (verified owner)

Used for speed painting white scars, looks ace. Spray corax white, apply plenty of this using a brush, then a heavy dry brush with corax white (more like a wet brush) to cover the raised areas white again, highlight using a bright white with a light dry brush. This in all the recesses gives a nice finish for little effort.
