The Adrantis Endeavour: Sitrep 04
This week, we check out some of the battle summaries from our Online Escalation League as well as a spotlight on another army from the in-store league!
We’ve got a handful of Battle Summaries from our Online Escalation League this week, where the Loyalists won 70% of engagements and gained a foothold on 2 worlds in the system; however, Traitor forces were not denied their own beachhead.
Alpha Legion Vs Ad Mech
The Ad Mech’s big guns opened up with concentrated salvos into the Headhunter and Effrit Infiltration Units. Despite the Alpha Legion suffering many casualties, their distraction tactics had worked, allowing the tactical squads enough time to secure objectives. The Legion Exodus was able to dish out retribution against the Ad Mech leadership with some precision shots and so denied them the opportunity to claw back some points. The early scoreboard lead held out for the Alpha Legion and led to them taking the win.
Space Wolves Vs Traitor Solar Auxilia
After an uncharacteristically cagey start from the Space Wolves, only managing to score a few kills in the opening 2 rounds, turn 3 turned out to be the one when all hell was let loose. An exploding Dracosan Armoured Transport was swiftly followed by an Aetheon Heavy Sentinel lost to the Wolves’ Contemptor Dreadnought. Not to be left out, the Optae challenged the Auxilia Captain, swiftly securing “slay the warlord” with glorious victory. Turn 4 brought little respite as the Contemptor continued its kill count with a Leman Russ, and Grey Slayers took out the Auxilia command squad and rifle sections, preventing them from any ability to get back into the battle.
Imperial Fists Vs Emperor’s Children
A strong early showing from the Emperor’s Children, causing some wounds against the Loyalists, but they were unable to finish off any single unit. Although weakened, the Imperial Fists were still a strong fighting force and battled on, culminating in their champion duelling the Traitorous Praetor atop a ruined battlefield building, slaying the Praetor in front of his troops and breaking their resolve.
Sounds like there were some excellent games fought in the Adrantis System over the past couple of weeks, and we’re excited to see what happens next. For those of you taking part in our Online Escalation League, we’re moving into Phase 2.

Lastly, for this week’s update, we wanted to show off James’ Word Bearers! They look epic as a fully painted army on the tabletop… It’s almost like that’s the whole point of an Escalation League.
