This week’s Dispatches brings Dan back to chat about Atomic Mass Games’ latest Star Wars news, Halo Flashpoint releases from Mantic Games, and more!
Star Wars: Shatterpoint
Atomic Mass Games released a couple of statements over the past few days about the future of their Star Wars and MCP games. They’ve said there will be more focus on MCP and Star Wars: Legion moving forward as well as continued support for Star Wars: Shatterpoint, but with a slower release rate.
With a strong Shatterpoint community in store, we know there are a lot of hobbyists concerned about what this will mean for the future of their game. We’ll have to keep an eye on what happens moving forward, but we’ll still be running events and game nights for Shatterpoint in-store and continue to stock the range. We love Shatterpoint and have no plans to change our levels of support for it.
Mantic Games
Mantic’s releases for Halo Flashpoint keep going from strength to strength, with the fan favourite Noble Team hitting pre-orders among others.
Mantic also recently announced their upcoming Ghost in the Shell TTRPG, designed with Alessio Cavatore and his River Horse Games studio. We’re looking to expand our offerings to include more TTRPGs and hold more RPG gaming in-store, so watch this space for more info when we have concrete details.
