Description

Hatched in a hidden eyrie high within the mountains, Itsumade was entrusted to the Kage Kaze Zoku while still a fledgeling. Long before the return of Sojobo, he was dispatched amongst humankind as the eyes and ears of the Tengu, gathering secrets and carrying whispered truths back to his masters.

Within the Kage Kaze Zoku he was admired as a symbol of unity, a living bridge between the clans and the shinobi. Yet admiration did not bring acceptance. Bound by loyalty to two masters and fully claimed by neither, Itsumade became a Nukenin, a wanderer without House or clan. Neither honoured nor shunned, he walks the roads of Jwar alone, selling his talents where they best serve his own inscrutable purposes while awaiting the call of the king to whom he truly owes allegiance.

Unlike most Tengu, Itsumade bears the unmistakable form of a secretary bird. Tall and lean, with powerful legs and distinctive crest feathers, he favours speed and precision over brute force. Armed with a compact shinobi bow and deadly kicks capable of felling foes many times his size, he strikes from unexpected angles before vanishing once more into the shadows.

On the tabletop, Itsumade brings cunning utility to both Tengu and Kage Kaze Zoku warbands. Through a suite of trap-based abilities and flexible ninja techniques, he rewards careful planning and resource management. His options create fresh tactical puzzles without overshadowing existing choices, making him a versatile operative whose value lies in timing, positioning, and the subtle manipulation of the battlefield.
