We’re always on the lookout for new releases and expansions to the games you love. But as we cover the length and breadth of the tabletop gaming world, our website becomes stacked with ALL the games. The various starter sets, multitudinous unit boxes, abounding card packs, and a kaleidoscope of paints and hobby supplies.
So you’d be forgiven for missing some of the latest and greatest to arrive on our site. Fear not! Our hobby lookout has a short report for you on a quartet of recent additions you dont want to miss!
StarCraft: Tabletop Miniature Game
Currently on pre-orders and hitting shelves very soon comes Archon Studios’ StarCraft tabletop game!
From the people that made Dungeons & Lasers, and the Masters of the Universe game comes this adaptation of the StarCraft games. The massively popular PC strategy games, rumoured to originally started as a 40k game before becoming their own IP, finds Terran forces, the Zerg , and Protoss face off in interstellar combat.
The 2 player starter set comes packed with minis of Terran Marines and Zerg creatures including great characters strait from the games. The box set also comes with a fabric playmat, terrain, and all the bits and bobs needed to get playing!
There’s also a ton of expansion including the 3rd faction, Protoss.
Gundam Assemble
We’ve been hearing about this game for a while, and now its hear we’re still just as hyped to get playing! Gundam Assemble is on pre-orders right now, with 2 versions of the starter set and a handful of expansions.
What else is there to say! it’s a tabletop game with giant mechs beating the nuts and bolts off each other! We’re sure we’ll love this just as much as we love the Gundam card game! BIG ROBOTS!!
