MTG The Hobbit Prerelease

Return to Middle-earth and experience a timeless tale’s grand beginning!
Set out from The Shire with Bilbo, Gandalf, and their company of
Dwarves in pursuit of fortune, adventure, and the dreadful Dragon Smaug.
Amass and recruit your armies in the shadow of The Lonely Mountain,
then battle it out to claim the treasures of Erebor!

Join us for your very first chance to play with the cards from a
brand-new set, where you can crack open some packs, build a deck,
and try out all the exciting new cards and mechanics the set has to offer.

From 6pm players will revive their pre-release kits and have 1 hour to
build their 40 card decks. After building your deck, you will play
several games of magic in best of 3 rounds, these will be 50 minutes
long, once the time runs out players will have 5 turns to end the game.

This
is a relaxed event, welcoming to players of all levels. Each
player will receive 2 additional booster packs for taking part in the
event at the end.
