On this page you will find the Terms & Conditions for the Outpost Affiliates program. These are designed to protect ourselves and affiliates from illicit behaviour and abuse of the system. If you are unsure of any of these T&C’s please contact us before completing your application. These terms & conditions may change so you are encouraged to check through them at regular intervals.
Affiliates will earn store credit in the form of a comission when a customer completes a purchase through our webstore after following an affiliate link. In order to gain this benefit the order placed must be completed, this means the order has shipped. At this point the referral will be accepted by our team.
Payouts are made intermittently but are typically processed within a few days At that point the reward will be available for an affiliate to use on the website.
1.1 Any individual may apply to be an Outpost Affiliate through the affiliate registration form. We reserve the right reject any application without giving any reason publicly if this would cause potential damage to The Outpost, it’s staff or customers.
1.2 Applicants must not have an existing affiliates account with The Outpost.
1.3 Upon approval affiliates will be begin earning referral rewards, until approved these will not be accumulated.
1.4 The Outpost reserves the right to retract any account’s status as an affiliate at any time. In the event of fraud or illegal, immoral or otherwise harmful activities this may result in payouts being reduced or cancelled.
Referals & Payouts
2.1 Referals are created through an affiliates customers following an appropriate link. It is the sole responsibility of the affiliate to ensure the link and the ID of the referer are correct. Using the incorrect link or ID may result in no payout or the payout being associated with another affiliate. Links can be created through the affiliate dashboard on our website.
2.2 Referals without purchase or with a purchase of zero value are not eligible for payout.
2.3 Upon completion of a transaction through our website Affiliates will see an order value on their dashboard. This will intially have a status of “Pending”. On a frequent basis (at least once per month) The Outpost will review and approve all dispatched/completed orders to ensure they are ready for payout. The completed approval may be several months after the original transaction in the case of pre-orders.
2.4 Order which are cancelled, returned or still in a pre-order state will not be eligible for payout until the customer process has been completed.
2.5 Referal rates are offered at 5%.
2.6 Payouts can be made in the form of Store Credit (5%) – this is a direct payout granting credit to your affiliate account for use on our website.
2.7 Payouts will be processed in bulk based on all completed orders/referrals.
3.1 It is the affiliate’s responsibilty to ensure all details (including payment details and options) are up-to-date and accurate. Failure to do so may result in delays or errors to payouts.
3.2 The affiliate must not cause damage to reputation of The Outpost whilst a member of the program. Any interactions which cause damage to the reputation of The Outpost will be viewed as intentional and result in the status of “affiliate” being suspended.
3.3 The affiliate is expected to take all reasonable steps to protect the source of their link (i.e blog, tutorials or forum) from malicious activity which may harm The Outpost, it’s staff or customers. Failure to do so will result in the affiliate’s account being suspended.
3.4 In the event of a dispute affiliates are expected to contact The Outpost to discuss the matter, we will do everything possible to resolve the issue amicably and to the agreement of all parties.
3.5 The affiliate will not attempt to defraud or deceive The Outpost or any customer, affiliate or staff member of the company.
