While rare to see, a Halfling Army does indeed happen. Usually the Halflings of Craggy Bottom must be pushed beyond measure to venture out of their home in force, there have been several noteworthy engagements.
In 604 there was an infantry army raised. With spears, swords, and bows, the Halflings went out in number in search of… what does it say here? Oh, “a pasty and a good pint”. Apparently there was a grain shortage.
But in 978 was the Goats for Glory campaign, waged by a bloodthirsty young Halfling general in search of martial victory! Oh wait, no. Apparently “Glory” was a particularly renowned cheese that the Dwarfs had made.
There’s the “Feeding of the 500” campaign though! We all heard about that. A vicious siege of a human castle that… what? The Halflings had just made too much stew and it had gone rancid? They didn’t even mean to hurt anyone, they were just throwing it out? Oh.
Okay well I guess every battle has mostly just been about food. Still, they get the job done when they’re hungry!
This set contains a whole army of Halflings! Enough to command over large engagements, these upstanding fighters will do anything for a good meal.
