Japanese A6MX ‘Zero-Sen’ Squadron set

The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was a fast, modern fighter, but had no armour for the pilot. When the Zero was in the hands of aggressive and well-trained pilots this weakness was rarely apparent. The A6-M5 model Zero featured improved engine, armament and protection, although the latter remained inadequate compared to other combat aircraft.

The Japanese A6MX ‘Zero-Sen’ Squadron set contains:

  • 6 Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero Fighters
  • 6 Advantage flying bases
  • 1 Aircraft card
  • 6 Aircraft Trait Cards
  • 6 Double-sided Pilot Skill Discs
  • 1 Aircraft Markings Sticker Sheet
  • 3 Action cards

Japanese Ace Pilot Sabur? Sakai set

Sabur? Sakai was the Imperial Japanese Navy’s fourth highest ranking Ace. When was began he shot down the first B-17 to be lost in the Pacific theatre. During a mission over Guadalcanal Sakai was badly injured but still limped his damage plane home and reported to his superior before collapsing. Despite the loss of an eye, Sakai went on to score at least 69 kills.

The Japanese Ace Pilot Sabur? Sakai set contains:

  • 1 Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero Fighter
  • 1 Advantage flying base
  • 1 Aircraft card
  • 2 Aircraft Trait Cards
  • 2 Double-sided Pilot Skill Discs
  • 1 Adolf Galland Ace card
  • 2 Ace Skill cards

The introduction of the Merlin engine transformed the initially mediocre P-51 Mustang into a world-class fighting machine with the iconic P-51D, all but supplanting other types of fighters used by the United States Eighth Air Force in Britain. By May 1945, Mustangs had flown 213,873 stories and claimed 4,950 enemy aircraft destroyed.

The US P-51 Mustang Squadron set contains:

  • 6 P-51D Mustang Fighters
  • 6 Advantage flying bases
  • 1 Aircraft card
  • 6 Aircraft Trait Cards
  • 6 Double-sided Pilot Skill Discs
  • 1 Aircraft Markings Sticker Sheet
